This is a pie chart with user-defined values extracted and combined into a second pie. For example, to make small slices easier to see, you can group them together as one item in a pie chart and then break down that item in a smaller pie or bar chart next to the main chart

Hello Team,

We need the enable and dissable drill focus option on hieraarchy object in web intelligence. Currently without even enabling the drill functionality we still have it enabled in the report.

Refer to the incident SMV: 8000010668 and Kbase 2207770 for additonal details.

Thanks,

Smita.

In WebI 3.1, you were able to define overlap between series in a column chart.

In BI4.2, you can define spacing in the Plot Area, however, these values can not have negative values, so we can't get the same overlapping affect as in BOXI3.1

see screen shots

We like to keep 'Custom Palette Style' permanent in Manage palettes area without creating each time a new custom palette for each chart.

This will be a realy usefull feature for lot of companies who creates regular charts by applying a standard pallet style.

Thank you

Webintelligence doesn't have options to select the Scaling Interval major value in the Y-axis of a Chart.
Setting Y axis values with an interval of 50 if we have values ranging from 0 to 200.
The Y axis value should look like 0, 50, and 100,150,200.
This Functionality is not available in Webintelligence in the Scaling option.

Currently when we create a chart with 2 separete values axis and apply region colouring this done for both axis.

When you have for example a stacked bar chart with a line for the target it could be that the stacked values of the bar come from a dimension. So the more values in the dimension the more buckets in the bar, but also the target is there multiple times!

Currently it is not posible to use opendocument from within a graph. I would be greath if that we could use the available dimensions in the graph to jump to another document.

I've opened a ticket with support about this issue, but can ALREADY tell the direction this is heading and am already hearing those lovely words "By Design" and "Expected Behavior".... so I'm posting here too.

In Web 3.1, there was an option to delete values on the axis, that way if you have a lot of values on the X axis, it would automatically delete every other value (or whatever was necessary) so that values would be displayed in a meaningful way on the axis and the user could see the time series, etc. being depicted by the graph.

Well, in Web 4.2, that option still exists, but it doesn't work!  The new "by design" / "expected" behavior is that it doesn't display the data on the axis, so you have a pretty chart and the user has absolutely no way of knowing what they are looking at.  You end up with a time series graph without the time series showing -- are you looking at data over one week, one month, one year, ten years... you have no idea!  This is absolutely ridiculous and NOT

Hello SAP,

We've seen many reports with in built features or workarounds for changing the color of Bar/Columns/Lines for the requirement on Alerting depending on a Target value. Instead of that, how about changing the color of Chart Background itself to act as an Alerter?

Checkout this blog I created to address Edwar's requirement. I'm attaching the picture here as well.

https://blogs.sap.com/2016/11/18/chart-background-as-alerter/

How about adding a feature to do that? So, we don't have to create table in the background and go through the tedious process. On top of that, it'd be cool if we're able to dynamically select the values of each target level and their color. This feature can be added to different kind of charts, Bar, Column, Stacked, Lines, Combined etc.

Thanks,

Mahboob Mohammed
