We currently have the following 'object' model binding options:

sp_replication_path 'pdb','bind','table','owner.table_name','path_name'

sp_replication_path 'pdb','bind','sproc','owner.sproc_name','path_name'

Would like the ability to also run (something like) the following:

sp_replication_path 'pdb','bind','trans','owner_name.trans_name','path_name'

... with the ability to use wildcard characters for owner_name or trans_name.

Choosing 'multipath distribution model' = 'object' would encompass 'table', 'sproc' and 'trans' bindings.

The primary objective is to allow routing of specific transactions over a different replication path.

For example, the DBA could route maintenance activity (conducted by the 'db_maint' user) over a different replication path:

sp_replication_path 'pdb','bind','trans','db_maint.*','path_name'

... thus allowing non-maintenance/user transactions to flow over the default replication path in a more timely manner.

While it's currently possible, v

Ability to create a table subscription with NULL value in WHERE clause.  See New Feature Request CR 790969.

Some replicated tables contain both a subset of data where a column contains customer-specific data and another subset where the same column is null and the data then applies to all customers.  The need is to be able to replicate all records with NULL values in that column, or all NOT NULL values as well.

Hi Team,

We would like to extract order data from SNP planning book and would also like to see the order details like source, target, SNP planner, availability date etc. for those orders. Basically we want to have one report on HANA side which can show us the demand at Plants, DCs etc.

We are already using standard transaction /SAPAPO/REPL to replicate data from APO SNP to HANA via planning book/data view created for this, but in that we are not getting above mentioned attributes associated with an order like source and target which we can see in 'Context' in Planning book.

It is generating one standard structure based on how we created/configured planning book/data view and keyfigures in it but there is no option in this transaction to capture source and destination Or resource information from order data.

We are looking for solution by which we can send this information alongwith order details to HANA DB from APO planning book using transaction /SAPAPO/REPL or any other standard

We are seeing continuous cycles of repserver quality degradation starting with teh 200x line and continuing into 300x line.

Only yestreday I started upgrading to ver 304 and had to bial out and roll back to SP137 for teh weird un acceptable stability issues and bugs.

This is disheartening to see such a well engineered and stable product being release with so much bugs.

Hello SAP ENG,

SRS 1571 eliminates the use of table replication definition as it passes the primary key information via LTL.
We have MSA database replication and the only benifit of using table replication definitions is for performance of updates/deletes.

We are in progress of upgrading our estate from 15.6 to 1571 and with this we are also dropping table level replication definitions to use the new feature.

However, we did some thorough testing and research and it appears that the primary key is picked up based on the unique index having least index id
This behaviour is controlled via getreppkindid() called in sp_setreptable ASE stored procedure.

We have a good numnber of tables which use multiple unique keys and there are cases where we prefer one key over the other based on the number of columns in the keys.
The shorter the key, the better for performance and hence for those table we are still keeping replication definitions.

I believe it should not be difficult for SAP to enhance the

Dear all, dear SAP support team,

since a few weeks we use SLT function.

In Tr. LTRC (SAP LT Replication Server - Cockpit) we can check the status manually.

To monitor this information automatically we miss this option in CCMS.

Please add this in CCMS or provide another solution for automated monitoring.

thx and regard

Daniel Reichmuth

Hello,

When replicating data from SAP sources there is no support for special currencies like JPY and ISK (the currencies from TCURX table). Because in SAP sources these amounts are stored in the DB divided or multiplied and their right format is converted by the GUI, wrong amounts are replicated (for example JPY amounts are divided by 100). The only way to convert them is with code.  This must be standard!!!

Thanks,

Amir

I had some customers in the past asking for an interesting feauture that is not implemented at the moment, but today I have had a conferencall call with a customer and they are asking for this again. The feature is add a replication server parameter to allow data compression for data sent through replication server routes, in many installations network bandwith for WANs is critical and compressing the data could be key point for network performance.

To increase the availability of replication data and reduce the workload of administrator, I would like to request a "Re-run" function of SAP LT Replication Server in case of replication failure. Replication Server should be able to monitor a series of replication jobs and detect an error, and ideally re-run the failed job automatically when it is detected.

Enhance the Replication Agent for Microsoft SQL Server to support the data type xml as a proper source data type for replication (see https://msdn.microsoft.com/de-de/library/ms187339(v=sql.105).aspx).

Currently a customer is forced to implement a workaround for columns with the data type xml (workaround: a new persisted computed column with the varchar(max) data type keeping the column values "redundant") which has a few serious drawbacks and additional limitations.
