The Challenge
How do we meet tomorrow's energy and resource needs?

The way utilities are providing services and interacting with their customer base is undergoing rapid transformation. Traditionally, consumers wanted their electricity, gas, water, and other services to be reliable and affordable. Tomorrow's customers also expect their utilities to be sustainable, and offer ongoing communication, choice, control, and personalization: to be integrated into our modern digital life. Outdated regulatory frameworks and aging utility infrastructure pose real challenges for companies that need to deliver on these requirements.

Do you have ideas on how to solve tomorrow’s energy and resource challenges?
Do you have an idea for an app that would help utilities communicate better with their customers?
Do you have ideas for utility process improvements that would drive customers to use that app?
Join us, and enter your idea!

To enter, submit an 800 to 1500 word description of your idea by November 22, 2013.  Details here
